Many students and educators from the Kamloops/Thompson School District will be attending an exciting event in Vancouver on September 29, 2009.

We Day is a one-of-a-kind event featuring inspirational and motivational speeches and performances by leading activists, speakers and entertainers. It is an annual celebration of the power of young people to change the world. It’s also the official kick-off to youth-led world-changing actions.

Whether you attend We Day, watch the day through the live broadcast, or are just inspired to create a better world, you can be part of the action!

In the months following the event, students will participate in a unique program that’ll put them at the forefront of active global citizenship and youth leadership. Youth will raise awareness and funds for school-building, clean water wells, health care and alternative income programs.

Download your own action kit, and have fun participating in this step-by-step program designed to make social change fun and easy. Each step will lead us closer to creating global equality and ending poverty in the developing world.
